The legislature is run by Tax and Spend Bleeding Heart Liberals who want to be more WOKE than California.

With luck, in a couple more years I will depart this viral insipid locale for NC or further south.

I'm outta work, thanks to Ageism and a former manager who said he will always have your back, but forgot to mention the shiv in his pocket. I'm not violent, but would love to hear sometime his transplanted hair was scalped from atop his head.

Aside that, I got to enjoy a full summer, 1st time since 2011...

In a frontier town, evening could mean the beginning of the busiest part of the day. Saloons filled up. Faro tables opened. Hotels took in late arrivals. Horses needed feeding, stage passengers needed beds, and men coming off the trail finally had money in their pockets.

And there was no flipping on the streetlights.

After dark, the West was lit by kerosene lamps, candles, lanterns, moonlight, and whatever spilled through the doors and windows of businesses still open.

It’s easy to picture the Old West in bright desert sunlight.

But a whole lot of its stories happened after dark.
