Trump fires warning shot to Biden as he’s freed to hit campaign trail

Former President Trump was found guilty on all counts in his New York criminal trial but remained able to campaign throughout the proceedings.

While required to attend court daily, Trump held rallies across New York and other states to support his 2024 presidential bid.

His campaign spokesperson warned that Biden’s team should “buckle up” now that Trump is fully back campaigning.

“Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats confined President Trump to a courtroom for more than eight hours a day for more than six weeks, and he’s still winning,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt stated. “Now that he is fully back on the campaign trial, Biden and the Democrats better buckle up.”

Trump “generated billions of dollars in earned media coverage throughout the trial, hosted massive rallies and impromptu campaign stops in New York and beyond, increased his lead over crooked Joe Biden in the polls and raised more money than Biden and the Democrats in the month of April. Not even a witch hunt trial could slow him down. In fact, it only made him stronger,” Leavitt said.

Though intending to turn New York red, Trump maintained strong support nationally and raised more funds than Democrats in April according to his campaign.

“It makes me campaign locally, and that’s OK,” Trump said. “We’re doing better now than we’ve ever done, so I think it’s having a reverse effect.”

“We’re going to come in. No. 1, you have to stop crime, and we’re going to let the police do their job. They have to be given back their authority. They have to be able to do their job,” Trump said. “And we’re going to come into New York. We’re making a big play for New York, other cities, too. But this city, I love this city.”

New York has “gotten so bad in the last three years, four years,” he said.

“And we’re going to straighten New York out. So running for president, we’re putting a big hit in New York — we could win New York,” Trump said.

“As you can see today, we’re expanding the electoral map because … we’re going to win the state of New Jersey,” Trump said at a rally. “I think we’re going to win them all. All across America, millions of people, so-called blue states, are joining our movement based on love, intelligence and a thing called common sense.”

“I’m here tonight to declare we are going to turn New York City around, and we are going to turn it around very, very quickly,” Trump said. “We are going to make New York bigger, better and greater than ever before.”

The presumptive 2024 nominees will debate on June 27th with Trump’s criminal sentencing upcoming on July 11th, just prior to the Republican National Convention.
